About this event

This is the annual Kauai Channel Race from Kaneohe, Oahu to Nawiliwili Harbor, Kauai, sponsored by Nawiliwili Yacht Club, Kaneohe Yacht Club and the Kauai Maritime Foundation.

Sailors from all islands are welcome to enter, provided they can meet the requirements for a 2025 or 2026 PHRF Certificate issued by the YRA of San Francisco, and the Safety Requirements as stated in the NOR and SI.

The 2026 Kauai Channel Race will start at 0700 outside Kaneohe Bay, Oahu and finish at Nawiliwili Harbor, Kauai.

Note that the Nawiliwili Yacht Club does not control any of the slips in the harbor and they are managed by the State of Hawaii. They require their Temporary Mooring Application be completed and returned prior to mooring in a slip.

The entry fee includes a $15 charge for HYRA.
